Affiliate Agreement

1. The program

Cosmic Quest invites approved partners to promote our personalized children's book using a unique referral link (/ref/your-slug). This agreement governs your participation in that program.

2. Approval

All applications are subject to review and approval at our sole discretion. Your referral link becomes active only after approval. We may decline any application without providing a reason.

3. Commission

You earn 20% of the net sale price (excluding shipping, taxes and refunds) on a referred customer's first Cosmic Parent Challenge purchase and on their first personalized book order.

A sale is attributed to you when the customer arrives through your referral link and completes their purchase within 30 days of their most recent click on your link.

Any further orders by the same customer, and purchases made more than 30 days after their last click on your link, do not earn commission.

If the customer uses a promotional or discount code, your commission rate is reduced by the code's percentage, so the discount and your commission together never exceed 30% of the sale. For example, a 20% code leaves a 10% commission, and a code of 30% or more leaves no commission.

Purchases you make yourself through your own referral link (including under the same email address as your affiliate account) do not earn commission. Commission withheld for self-purchases or abuse may be deducted from future payouts.

4. Payment schedule

Commissions are held for a 30-day clearing period so the order can be printed, shipped and completed. After the 30 days have passed, the commission is paid on the first day of the following month.

Example: a sale on October 5 clears on November 4 and is paid on December 1.

Payments are made in USD to the PayPal address on your account. Keep it current — we are not responsible for funds sent to an outdated address.

5. Refunds, chargebacks and cancellations

Commission is not payable on orders that are refunded, charged back, cancelled or found to be fraudulent. Amounts already paid on such orders may be deducted from future commissions.

6. How you may promote

You may share your link on your own website, social channels, newsletters and in person.

You may not bid on Cosmic Quest brand terms in paid search, use spam, misleading claims, fake reviews, coupon or cashback abuse, cookie stuffing, self-referral, or represent yourself as Cosmic Quest or its employee.

You may not make medical, psychological or guaranteed-outcome claims about the book, and you must comply with advertising disclosure laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or revoke your affiliate status at any time if these terms are violated, and unpaid commissions tied to the violation may be forfeited.

Either party may end this agreement at any time for any reason. Commissions properly earned before termination remain payable under the normal schedule.

8. Relationship and liability

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of Cosmic Quest, and you are responsible for your own taxes.

The program is provided as-is. Our total liability to you is limited to the commissions payable to you.

9. Changes and privacy

We may update these terms; continued participation after an update means you accept the revised terms.

We record the date and version of the terms you accept. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
